Lost my goods & kept my money

Greetings,

I have a smalll problem, I purchsed 2 tyres from National tyres, soon after, I had to return them because bulges appeared on them, I was told to purchase 2 more tyres and they will send the faulty pair back to the manufacturers, my good sense told me to purchase elsewhere,

I bought the replacements from another source,

since then they have misplaced my tyres, and kept my money,

I have made umpteen calls, written to them, the best offer they can give me is (Get this) "A trade discount on anything I purchase from them form now on".

 

Are they Extracting the urine, or ARE THEY EXTRACTING THE URINE.

 

This has been going on for 3yrs now, I WANT TO HIT THEM HARD,

 

Deadlines and threats of legal action have come and gone, they are treating it as a joke.

 

What can I hit them for? My small claims kit is at hand.

do you have any proof that you handed the tyres back to them? Anything in writing?

Yes, a letter dated 20th April 2005, on Company headed paper apologising for the inconvienence that they have caused me, and in the same letter offering trade discount on anything I purchase from them, naming the person I spoke to, and signed by the Customers Service Co-ordinator
