Cant get credit because of previous tenant

I keep sending their mail and catalogue items back saying they have moved.

I have tried to buy something from littlewoods and was refused...

In your case, it may be that the previous tenant ordered goods from Littlewoods (or one of their sister catalogues) but did not pay. Their refusal may be based on the idea that you are in fact the "previous tenant", at the same address, trying to get goods under another name.

 

Try telephoning Littlewoods and ask to speak to a supervisor. You could start by asking why they would not let you make purchases and see what they say, then explain your problem.
