Fine - but why the part about respect? It's rubbish

:D True, it's a total lie!

But we've now used Kate's letter and it's on its way.

Received NatWest's AQ today, in the "other info" box they say the usual bull: "Case management directions cannot be proposed until the Claimant serves a Reply to the Request for Further Information which was due on 27 October 2006. In light of this, the Defendant may amend its Defence or apply to strike out."

Of course we replied to their request (on the 19.10.), and we also sent the Court a copy of all communication between us and them, so I guess it's our turn to sit tight...:?:

You could try and pay it in to another account and see if it works. If it is made out to you I don't see that they can specify where it is paid in.

If that fails then send it back and ask them for another cheque properly made out. In my book you haven't won until you have cleared funds in your account.

The Consumer Action Group is a free help site.

Should you be offered help that requires payment please report it to site team.

Advice & opinions given by Caro are personal, are not endorsed by Consumer Action Group or Bank Action Group, and are offered informally, without prejudice & without liability. Well done Alexandra. I think someone used the word avalanche. Looks more like the whole mountain is collapsing
