Hi HH :)

Yeah, All I could find was their user manual here but it doesn't clarify delivery times as far as I can see.

Seems most likely at moment that they are second class..but it would be nice to have proof.

I've emailed them 2 days ago but they've not deigned to respond yet.

Hi CDS,

I think it's basically any info on the envelope..bar code or numbers/letters, which indicate the date of posting and the class of delivery..first or second. I had one which took 5 days to arrive according to date of letter, but for all I know could have been sat in an out tray for days.

the bar codes on the envelope are put on at the royal mail , mail center

its done so machines ,imps can read these codes

its the post code on the envelope

so that mail will go to the nearest mail center for which its addressed.

the mail goes through the process again wher is automatically bundled int walk sort,

its straight to the delievery frame

in a knutshell

nothing sinister

just your postcode

Hi postggj,

Thanks for helping, the main thing we need to know is how to tell what date these letters were posted and what class of postage, ie first, second or don't hold your breath :)

(Mainly in relation to the Default Notice issue)

Regards,
