Hi everyone, sent my first letter on 27th of June. Have had no reply as yet, how long has everyone else waited? Claiming back £2,613.00 which is only 6 months worth of charges. Feeling really nervous, hope it works.

Hi there

If you post this question in your bank specific forum you will probably get a lot more answers and support.

Best of luck :)

Personally I think it's best to stick to sending letters.

If the case ends up in court all evidence needs to be in writing anyway.

Hi I need some advice I have recieved letter this morning appologising for my dissatifaction of thier service. It reads they would advise me that the statement made by the office of fair trading in april related soley to the default charges applied to credit card accounts and no statments have been made concerning bank chages or any legislation passed to deem these illigal. They go on to say that as I wrote out the cheques and they cleared them I acted in fraudulant manor so no refund was granted. As a good will gesture theuy will refund £284. If they do not hear back from me within 8 weeks they will assume I am satisfied with thier response. Am I on a no win situation even though its their charges that started my snowball situation, and I have no choice but to write out a cheque or my family do not eat? Please Help!!
