I confess, I've been naughty.

I found a load of prepaid and self adressed envelopes from Reliable Collections. I made sure they were all empty, sealed them using tap water (in case they extract DNA) and put them all in the post box so now they will have to pay for the postage.

Maybe if anyone is going abroad.....:D

Maybe you could put some brick and concrete slab dust in each one just to send them overweight this will save them having to come round to collect your doorstep if you send enough.

You have the right to food money.

If you don't mind a little investigation, humiliation, and if you cross your fingers rehabilitation..............

I have been known to accidentally send "Medical samples" to the wrong address, accidentally because as everyone knows to do so deliberately is illegal and malicious and we cannot be having that

The materials are always completely and safely stored in containers provided for the purpose by me medical practitioners, they are sent without the correct postage, this is deliberate.

To my mind if they are going to take the p*ss, then they should be paying for the priviledge.

A friend of mine once sent some of his Chihuahua's (dog) poo in a small plastic container (candy lipsticks packaging) to someone that annoyed him and that person had to have the police come and investigate a suspicious package.

It was highly amusing although I would not condone it. But it was very funny. But still dont do it. But.......

I hope you accidentally put in some yellow food clouring so the samples you accidentally send accidentally look authentic.

The next DCA that sends me a prepaid envelope will get a free doughnut. Sugared of course. ;)

Trading Standards refuse fine paid in pennies

John Williams - Thursday 19.02.09, 17:02pm

Would you turn down a shopping trolley full of cash?

The trading standards office in Birmingham (England) have refused to accept the cash from wheel clamper Gary Southall as payment for legal costs he owes to the city council following a court case.

The reason - Southall had filled the shopping trolley with the outstanding payment of £1300 in pennies! The trolley which takes three men to move and weighs almost half a tonne was delivered by van to the trading standards office, where it was turned away.

Unlikely to happen. I can't see any CAG member wanting to pay a DCA £1300 in the first place. :D

Oh, there was no need for food colourings, the samples were entirely genuine, just "accidentally" put in the wrong envelope, accidentally taken to the post office and equally accidentally dropped into the postmans bag. anyone opening the containers would be greeted with that lovely amonic odour of stale p*ss.

Of course if anyone checks they will find that my doctors received an anonymous debt collection letter, sent accidentally of course

I think this thread has been giving peeps who live near me some ideas. It's in the local village newsletter that 60KG of lead has been stolen off the church roof.

I wonder which DCA they'll be sending it to in a prepaid envelope. :D

I too have quite a collection of those pre-paid Reliable envelopes; I just kept shoving them in my file with the rest of their carp and only ever used one for a bogof letter.

Reliable have now gone away but I must admit I have been VERY tempted to return the rest of those envelopes empty. After all considering the amount of stress they put you under, you can’t possibly be held responsible for your actions…

Maybe break up your doorstep and send it to them piece by piece, so when they say they'll send a "doorstep collector" you can honestly say "Ive already paid it in full"!!
