Hi - Foolishly applied for a loan with these people and paid the £49 charge. Then got a loan offer from someone called FLM who were charging over 50% interest and wanted a Guarantor. I could have done this myself as I did not want a Guarantor! Called Fresh Finance who are refusing to refund the charge as they are an introducer and have introduced me! I told them that it does not mention a Guarantor anywhere but they were just rude and told me I couldn't have my money back. Am going to ring back to speak to the Supervisor. Any advice?

I applied for a loan of £5000 from advantage loans (same company)

I was told that once I paid the £49 I was garuanteed to have the £5000 loan.

I got offered £3000 from Flm, when I called to complain (1 hour on the phone) I was told that there was no way that i was garuanteed that amount, They sent me another offer which was a link to A&L website. This was declined, another phone call (42 minutes) another offer which was a link to Halifax. This was also declined.

Several calls of complaint later (3 hours 56 minutes) and several letters with links to companies websites later I recieve a call from there complaints team who confirm that the person I spoke to garuanteed me the loan of £5000. yet all I received was a refund for £49.

What is my next move

Hi everyone. I wrote to Fresh Finance stating that I could have obtained a loan from FLM myself if I had wanted a Guarantor Loan. I told them that I had tried to speak with them over the telephone and that they were so rude - it was a disgrace. Have had a letter confirming that the £49 less the £5 which they are allowed to keep will be refunded to me. I am now ringing them with my card details! Thanks for your help. :)

Hi I'm a newbie and wish I had found this Forum earlier!

I applied on-line for a 2k loan and recieved a Pre-approval form from Fresh Finance. I duly filled it in and phoned them this morning to process the Admin fee from my debit card. This fee struck me as odd so I googled the company and found this forum. I quickly rang them up to cancel the fee and the customer services department told me that I had to go to my bank to cancel it. I then raced to my bank where they told me that they couldn't do it FF had to do it.

So I promptly re-rang them , put on hold for 30 mins. So I re-rang again. Got through to customer service department where they took my details and said they would refund my card.

With thier dubious reputation, what I want to ask (if anybody could answer this) is can they take the money out of my account now after I have asked them to cancel? Also I ripped up the approval form so they have nothing with my signature on.

If anybody can help me i would be extremley grateful

Thanks in advance!:)

I work for a company called Fresh Finance Group. We receive phone calls daily from people asking for their £49 back. I would just like to make it known that we are not the same company. We are a Mortgage Broker (regulated by the Financial Services Authority). We don't offer loans and we certainly wouldn’t be involved in this type of behavior.
