Hi - we have been having 'words' with Link Financial since last year (copy of previous links attached). http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/welcome-consumer-forums/116810-link-financial.html

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/debt-collection-industry/123006-link-financial-help-again.html

Yesterday we received a letter from Robinson Way saying that the remaining debt amount had been passed to them now.

As I was naive last time I thought I would get my facts straight before I start dealing with these cowboys.

I presume that as Link Financial were able to provide the Credit Agreement straight away, these will also??

Thanks

Strawbell

I would CCA them anyway.

I did this. The original creditor sent me the CCA.

When it got passed to 2 different DCA's at the same time,

the DCA's couldn't produce one. So I have a feeling the

agreement didn't get put back in the right place, and now

it's gone missing. So well worth a try. :D

With DCA's, show them who's boss from the start, and make it

as hard as possible for them to get any money off you.

You had to work hard to get it, and so should they.

These are video links to show how I deal with Debt Collectors.

I doubt Robinson Way will have your CCA , I have yet to see a case on here where they have supplied one. They seem to operate their debt collection company on the same principles as their parent company London Scottish Bank. The bank concerned itself with the sub prime market , loans to people that could not otherwise get a loan at the high street banks , doorstep loans .. payday loans at a high APR . Their market is the poor and vulnerable. Similarly their debt portfolios are geared , the unenforceable, the aged and statute barred , ones without a cca . The bottom of the market. They buy sub prime debts on the cheap and hope to make a huge profit on their small outlay. Relying on the alleged debtor not knowing their rights.

Fuzzybobble,

That is one of the best quotes I've ever seen on CAG! We all work hard to make a living... we don't bully, lie and intimidate to make a living... it's HARD EARNED CASH!

Good for you! :D

We all know what RWCs response will be.

The old we bought the rights but not the responsibilities ploy plus a load of waffle about the law of property act
