  1. Hello, I've received a notice to keeper today for exceeding the maximum period allowed by 17 minutes. Although I was driving the car, I was not the keeper as it's my fiancé's (so the letter was addressed to her but I won't let suffer for it) My initial reaction was to ignore it but I decided to play it safe and ask for guidance. Thank you in advance. 1 Date of the infringement 11/02/19 2 Date on the NTK 18/02/19 3 Date received 20/02/19 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? 2. Hi all. Please can I ask have the redundancy pay rules been changed lately? A friend told me today that there is now a maximum of 12 weeks redundancy pay? Apologies if this is a sily question.
  3. Looking for some advice, whats the best action to take? Is Ignoring really the best? Wife got caught exceeding the 2 hour limit by 34 minutes, apparently the shops were busy!!!!! There was one little mistake on the notice letter, in that they didnt include our property number, just the name of the street. Is this enough to disregard this? (there are only 2 properties on our street though, but surely the principle should apply!!) Cheers

  6. Hi, I need some advise regarding the employment contract. I have a potential job opportunity with a company in which I can work from home for them. I would be their employee hence on their pay system, but I would be only working 2 - 3 hours per week. I do not want them to pay me for 2-3 hours/week or 8-12 hours/month. I would rather get paid when I have exceeded like 36 hours or so that can take up to 3 months. My question is: Is there any legal pay schedule set by the government that an employer has to stick to it or depending upon the contract the pay day can be after 3 months or 6 months etc. I would ask the company but I thought I would ask at the forum first to know what sort of answer I can get from the company. Best Regards
  7. Hi, I have written to HSBC to ask they waive the charges due to be taken out of £160 due to hardship. I received a letter basically telling me no, be more careful with your finances. In the letter there is a line that says "only one fee will be applied per day, up to a maximum of £150.00 in any one monthly charging period". On several occasions I have been charged more than £150 in a month, including the charges due to come out of my account on the 14th of £160. Does anyone know if it has always been this limit per month, or if it is a new thing? Do you think I should complain? Thanks
