  1. Hi All, I hope someone will be able to help me, as we got ticket and I am refusing to pay it, as we did nothing wrong. Back in May, 5th of May 2018 we went to Willen Lake (this is somewhere where we go at least once per week, this time, for some STUPID reason, we have parked at Napier Willen Lake, North Car park, which is a new carpark and not our usual parking spot. we drove in, went to pay, but seen that at this particular car park we need to pay on our way out, as such. we went to park for just under 3 hours, came back, went to the ticket machine, entered our car registration, got the fee, paid with card, and machine just went blank after that, which didn’t bring any suspicion as the machine was working fine (so it appears), 2 weeks later we’ve received the £100 FCN, but if paid within 14 days then we “ONLY” need to pay £60. Well, needless to say, we refused this and have put in the appeal, stating the above and also adding that they can probably check their cameras at the machine, and see that we have paid (our opinion at the time). Our appeal was turned down. After that first letter we have received the second letter that says “Final reminder” on it and yesterday we have received the letter stating that our account has been passed to their legal team. I have attached the mentioned letters to this “cry for help/advice” thread. I hope I have hidden all private information, I did check it 5 times.  Many thanks for your help in advance. Napier.pdf
  2. Dear all, I have parked on 30th of March 2017 in Napier Parking in Milton Keynes and after carrying out the first transaction I saw no ticket coming out of the machine to display on my dashboard. Straight away and to make sure I paid, I made a second attempt and to my surprise I received two tickets, which means I have been charged twice. I didn't hesitate to e-mail Napier parking with pictures of my tickets and all I have received as a response is that it was my fault for not looking properly for the first ticket as according to them the machine was working perfectly, and no refund will be made. It was an all day price of £8, so I ended up paying £16. I feel ripped off and have already raised it with BPA (British Parking Association), but I am open to any advice. Thank you, Veganfluff
  3. Hi all, We need your advice a Parking Ticket. Received FCN attached to Windscreen on 10th July 2016 at Willen Lake Car Park, Milton Keynes. Parking company is Napier Parking Reason for issue: Failure to Display a ticket The Driver had Bought Ticket and displayed it on dashboard, then went for a bike ride. The Driver opened the driver door and the ticket blew into the passenger side door pocket. The ticket was still valid at time of the FCN and had 2 hours remaining. The Driver did not appeal Napier Parking after reading various cases on CAG and wanted to wait for the NTK. Received a Notice To Keeper (NTK) on 16th August (issued 10th August but only read it on return from holiday 16th August). The NTK did not provide photographic evidence NTK mentions Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (PoFA) in the header but not Section 4 The Driver has NOT APPEALED after receiving the NTK and it mentions an appeals process but only after the driver has contacted Napier and appealed. What are the next steps? Thanks Fudster Napier Parking Ticket July 2016.pdf
  4. Hello, first post here having read through other threads. I received a FCN from Napier after parking at Willen Lake, i bought a ticket and it appeared to have blown off my dash into the footwell of my car. I returned to my car to find an FCN on the windscreen asking for payment of £80 or a reduced charge of £45 if paid within 14 days. I appealed to Napier through their online procedure explaining this situation and attaching a picture of my ticket. However they responded with a letter attached to an email stating that because i failed to ensure the ticket was displayed that im still expected to pay. In this letter though, it now says they will accept a £25 payment as a show of good will. Very simply should i just accept this and pay them, or is ignoring further correspondence the best route to take?
  5. Napier Parking Ltd I have just joined your forum regarding Napier Parking Ltd was just wondering if the comments from 2010 are still relevant today? They are still issuing parking charge notice sending reminder letters with increased amounts on them along with a transcript of a court case that they won and now I have received a letter from a 'so called' debt recovery agency asking for another amount. The parking charge notice started off at £45 and now they are demanding £150. Can these letters still be ignored or have this company since been registered and become legal since 2010 when the original questions were asked and answered. Please, any advice would be good as worried I have ignored something genuine and now owe this substantial amount
  6. Hi all, My Daughter parked in a car park for 5 mins and received a PCN. The company is Napier Parking and the landholders are a company of De Savary, so the same people manage the land as own it. As they own the land and operate the parking is there more of a chance of a court case or is the advice still to ignore? TIA
