  1. I finallly get to join the EVRi/Evri delivery failure club. I ordered a coat and got the notification that it was out for delivery with Evri. Unfortunately, it never turned up. I contacted the seller, and as it was outside the delivery dates, they refunded me straight away and said if the coat turns up I can keep it!

  2. It was wish. Absolutely no quibble. Just went through the chat bot and the refund was issued to paypal almost immediately, then credited back to my bank account the following day.

  3. you were the keeper of the car while it was leased. Park Watch sent the original PCN to the lease company who are the registered keepers. They then named you as the hirer of the car. Therefore the PCN from Park Watch should have been a Notice to Hirer not Notice to Keeper. As such according to PoFA they should have sent you: in addition to the NTH a copy of the original PCN a copy of the lease agreement and a copy of the statement of liability for debts and a confirmation that you had were the keeper at the time of the offence. This comes under PoFA Schedule 4 section 13

  5. Not sure what you mean by permanent warrant? It's an unpaid council PCN, which although decriminalised many years ago, doesn't mean everything can be ignored like a private speculative invoice for parking Once we know the answer to our questions..like has she moved in recent times or just ignored everything to date, we can move her on But until then, we are , like you, just guessing at things If she knew nothing nor received the PCN then with the correct forms, everything will stop. Dx

  6. Congratulations on sticking to your guns. I am sure that receiving money from them is so much more satisfying than having to pay them money.

  8. Also, on the miniscule writing at the bottom of their sign, the first sentence is "EURO CAR PARKS IS SOLELY ENGAGED TO PROVIDE A SPACE MAXIMISATION SCHEME". "Solely engaged" appears to be a very specific exclusive statement. I can see that it would probably involve the layout of the car park and painting pretty boxes on the floor. But, is the statement exclusive enough to prevent them doing anything else, such as using ANPR and issuing invoices?

  10. Okay thanks....well this will be a complex claim and if your not aware issuing the claim through MOL your particulars will be restricted and you may therefore have to issue separate particulars. Your particulars of claim will be paramount in achieving success and therefore you must research on how to draft the particulars and also familirise your self with the MCOL process. Post your intended particulars (MCOLRestricted version and fully particularised draft) for opinion before submitting your claim.

  11. The signs at the entrance do not offer a contract-rather an offer to treat. I imagine that the crooks would argue that if you stay for no more than 30 minutes there is no charge but if you intend to stay longer there is no free period. As the signage is ambiguous and the entrance signs do not offer a contract nor clarify the 30 minute free period, motorists are able to select the most advantageous option available. I see you have already decided your interpretation.

  12. There are almost 500 PCN claimform threads here. Use our enhanced Google search box for PCN claimform and get reading a good few 10's of them, so you know what's to come, how to react, and what's next going forward. You've already made one quite serious schoolboy mistake by filing the defence you have Don't make another!!

  14. @tobyjugg2 What I meant, is that Tories are starting to comment on the impact of Brexit much more and of the problems it is causing. The name calling "remoaners" is now being used by a smaller number of fanatics and more people are now thinking their leave votes were a mistake. Both Tories and Labour have a policy of making Brexit work, when the electorate may have changed their minds on what they believe is the best way forward for the UK.

  16. I would say that you're quite correct Jackace. Nothing on their alleged "contract", (the signage) stipulates when the free 30 minutes is to be applied. They might, as you say try to "suggest" it applies before the paid time, but IT DOESN'T SAY THAT IN THE CONTRACT...

  17. They are probably within their rights but how much is the increase? They are probably pretty desperate to sell vehicles and if you give them notice that you didn't want it anymore you may well be able to persuade them to share the increase with you

  18. While a few Tories seem to be recognising that Brexit hasn't done what we were promised, there's a section of the party or people just leaving it that still thinks every that's going wrong is the EU's fault. Even though we've left. The thinking is that EU/Remainers are still in charge. So the story goes that Hunt was in Belgium when Truss contacted him, not on holiday as stated, but seeing the EU. And he's their puppet.
