Can I claim for interest applied to my credit card?

Also I have had letter from Crapital One saying the late payment fees of £12 cannot be reclaimed as they are in line with OFT?

Anybody out there can help me?

The OFT amount of £12.00 is just a guide line, so yes you can claim that back.

You can only charge for costs which are a penalty, not for services.

So check up on some of the threads, because if you have paid extra interest due to exessive charges then you can claim it back in CCI. Not that I know about that, only what I have read.

No problem. they sent me the you can have £12.00 etc etc.

No can do matey - said I, and filed the MCOL claim. I have been told they are defending it. Okey Dokey, I am thinking about buying one of them nice white curly wigs :D Nah not really, I don't suppose I will get to see the inside of a court room. Didn't with A&L they said they would defend then sent me a chq for £4500

Please help - sorry to be thick.

Would somebody give me an example of how to fill in sections on the spreadsheet properly?

Trying to claim contractual interest.

Statement Balance

Amount Paid (see notes)

Remaining Balance

e.g

Statement 22/08/03 says balance of 4450.01

Paid out 815.37

Paid in 138.16

Thanks

Ok

Enter statement balance. Then look at next months statement work out the difference between the 2. That becomes what you have paid. If the balance has gone up enter as a minus figure

The spreadsheets are on this link, but I don't really think that you can claim CI.
