right i think ive got this right now with the threads well i hope so ........im just waitin on my 6yrs statements 2 come ive got 1yrs so far and worked out they owe me 2500.00 in 1yr so we will see how much there gonna owe me after 6ys...what do i do after workin out how much they owe thanx.....

Hi Kelly, if you go to the FAQ section there is a step by step guide, also have a good read of other peoples threads and you will get a really good idea of what will happen each step of your claim.

Just one question for you, Kelly... Is there any chance you could please post in English in future? I have no idea what language you're speaking now, but it contains no punctuation, uses numbers where there would be words, and letters where there would be other words.

 

It makes EXTREMELY difficult reading, and it's almost impossible to discern your meaning - were your posts in English I would find it FAR easier to answer your questions - if indeed you have asked any.

well hello to all,resived a letter from halifax saying they have tryed phoning me what a lie offering me a good will gesture of £390.00 which i have turned down, im still waiting for them to send my 6yr statements so its just sit and wait for them statements to come will keep you all upto date x

phoned the bank today asked if they have recived my letter and payment 4 my statements which i sent 2weeks ago and guess what NO which i was expecting from then but i spoke with a fella called John who said he would get onto it stright away free of charge,in one mth they charged me £475. in bank charges,how on earth can they get away with this....well they have with me 4 15yrs but NO MORE im ready to take this all the way thanx to everyone herexx

Kelly follow the procedures.

 

Think you need to send them the LBA stating that you will be pursuing the full amount.

 

Refere to the telephone call offering the amount they have and tell them you will accept this but not as full and final settlement since you want ALL the refunds they owe you.

 

Dont know if you should have asked them to confirm their offer in writing.

 

suppose over the telephone you have no proof of their offer.

They are not known to agree to partial settlement and will hold their ground.

 

Your next course of action is the LBA as you dont accept the offer as full and final and neither will they budge on it !!

 

As stated you can refere to their offer in your letter politely declining it.

 

You should point out that if it goes to court you will be claiming interest too

Yes. You can keep adding charges on up to the point when you file your claim with the courts.
