Had a letter today from local court. Judges comments on case:- £100 allocation fee to be paid before allocation directions can be given.

Shall I just pay this & wait or should I do that draft order I keep harping on about.

Update: Just rang the court - allocation questionarie not required

i'd pay it - get a receipt - and add it to your claim. you will get it back - no problem - might be worth a little note to dg - saying i see the aq fee is now payable and i will be paying it shortly - please note that upon my paying this fee my claim will be increased by the same amount. should you wish to avoid further costs i will accept xxxx.xx for the next seven days - after which i will have paid my aq fee and the amount i will then settle for will increase to xxxx.xx

something along those lines - don't make the payment late - ring the court to see when it is due - then if you have time give dg 7 days to cough up or you pay the aq and add it on.
