This bunch of rip-off merchants spoke to my partner about taking over our business phone lines, as we had previously had our calls only with them. He told them he thought we were tied into a contract with BT and agreed that only if it wouldn't cost us anything he would do it.

Next thing is a bill from BT for about £3K for terminating our contract early. On calling BT to reinstate contract we then received bill from Daisy for similar amount for cancelling their contract early. On calling Daisy to tell them to place bill where sun don't shine they cut our ten business lines off for three weeks. Until BT could reclaim them...

Daisy have tried to threaten court action. They have even threatened to send the boys round to our house (I waited in to have a good fight but they didn't turn up). I am looking forward to them taking us to court but somehow they won't play ball, as the counterclaim would be massive.

Strangely when my partner was arguing his side with Daisy they produced a recording of a telephone call with him, but only the bits that suited them.

If we were rich we would sue the ass off them but unfortunately we are not.

I know that this is a telecomms-type claim, but looking at the purely financial side of it, I think that you will find the help and guidance you need for this in the Debt and Bailiffs forum.

Copy and paste into a new thread in the Debt and Bailiffs forum and see what you get.

Good luck.

If you want a copy of that telephone call now you know that they have it, send a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to Daisy. This entitles you to ALL info they hold on you - telephone calls, telephone notes, any statements, charges applied, etc. Enclose a £10 cheque for the statutory fee and send it Special Delivery (signed and tracked).

They have 40 days from receipt to comply. There's a template in the library - you'll have to modify it slightly to suit your situation as the template is bank-geared. After you receive all the information on the handling of this fiasco you can decide what steps you wish to take.

Good luck
