Arrows/Drydens PAPLOC - old Virgin Card Debt.

Hello,

 

I received a letter from Drydens chasing an old debt, I believe it to be around 5 yrs old.

 

I will send the CCA request off but wanted to confirm that is what I should be doing at this stage. I have attached the letter received.

have you moved since taking this credit out and not informed the OC or the DCA of your new address?

Not in Scotland.

 

I did have a virgin card (around 2015), Had a letter from Arrows saying they are transferring it and before that had some letters from capquest. This is the 1st letter from drydens.

Have not moved.

I have to received a letter of claim (attached) together with an income & expenditure form and a tick box reply form.

Repoened this post as have received another letter (identical to the initail one) from dryden.

Haven't heard anything back apart from acknowledgment when I responded as advised over a year ago.

Presume I respond with same as advised in post #10.

Did you establish when last payment or acknowledgement was.?

Also by what date do you have to respond. ?

If it was 2017 like you think, bank statements might help, then l think they are clutching at straws.

If it was then by the end of year the debt will be 6 yrs old and SB. 

If with the same bank see if you can find a date the last payment was.

I don't think it's SB as had a look and last payment made around June 2019.

I have received a response attached. Should I register to see the documents?

I also note on the paperwork they provided asking for income my D.O.B is incorrect, not sure if this matters or not. I also ideally don't want to email them.

Any advise, pls?

please dont write back

it only makes them feel important.

if they want to take this fwd they will send them or raise a speculative court claim.

it only makes you look frightened of them if you write.

I have today received a Letter of claim dated 11/01/24 (with all the forms as per post #15 and with wrong D.O.B).

Should I follow #15 & #18 again?
