Now......I've lost track of your thread.... so please remind us all how much ??

(Also, am I right in believing you actually work for Lloyds) ??:)

All opinions and advice I offer are purely my own, and are offered without any liability. If unsure seek the help of a licensed professional

...just because something's in print doesn't mean its true.... just look at you Banks T&C's for example !

Hi all,

Claim was for a total of £1385 including interest and court fee.

I sent letters to Lloyds and to SC&M earlier in week to complain about some of the things going on.

Not the best letter but here it is

Sechiari Clark & Mitchell Solicitors

Department SO

PO Box 499

Upper Ground Floor

1-5 Queens Road Quadrant

Brighton

BN1 3XJ

25th April 2007

Dear Sir/Madam,

Claim Number: xxxxxxxx

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you regarding the above claim that has almost reached its conclusion as settlement has been offered.

However I have contacted yourselves twice now to see if you have received the acceptance form that you asked me to return no later than the 19th April. I returned the form 2 weeks ago and so far you have been unable to confirm to me that this has been received. I find it hard to believe that an organisation like yourselves does not have the facilities or the resources to answer this question regarding what I consider to be such an important matter.

As such I have not discontinued my claim as you have requested and will be attending the pre hearing on May 21st If this has not been resolved.

I have sent a Letter to Lloyds regarding this matter and if I have not received response regarding these matters that I have outlined within the next 7 days then I will be contacting the Office of Fair trading and the Financial Ombudsman Service to issue a formal complaint.

Yours sincerely

I give advice not as an expert on law, only as a guy who succesfully claimed back £3385 from The Halifax. Followed by another £2611.

Lloyds TSB settled in full before hearing

Cap One offered full settlement and default removed.

If I help in any way then please donate to the site when you are succesful

I am going to modify it slightly as I havent got a hearing date yet and fax it to S,C&M on Monday morning - hope it spurs them into getting the money put in

Thanks a lot, it just goes to show that they will even do it to their own employees and that they are well within their rights to claim it back.

And yes I sent back the signed acceptance form.
