Hi Guys

Briefly I Had a loan with J&J securities which I took out in 1991.

I was told that i would have to take ppi with the loan because I was self employed.

While looking for some other documents I have found the origonal insurance documents.

Is it possible to still make a claim for the misselling of this policy bearing in mind that J&J are no longer in existence.

The ppi was a single payment policy prepaid at the start of the loan an the pemium added to the amount borrowed.

What are your views guys?:|

Hi dx100uk

Who do i make the claim against as J&J are no longer in existance.

Also if you read the rest of my threads J&J may have been acting as agents for midland and general who are also wound up.

The origonal PPI was with Lloyds Insurance effected through Bennet Goulds & partners Ltd.

I can upload origonal documentation if required

but where do I go next.

Also I am begining to doubt what they say I owe on the DCA 's accounts.

I think you'd have to await the SAr to unravel where the policy payments went

but in all event

it doesn't matter the FSCS would be the last port of call if they all wave things.

whats the Lloyds link please

how do you know this

Hi Guys

I phoned FSCS and they could not help because the insurance policy was pre 2005 but they suggested I contact the origonal broker.I phoned Bennett & Gould and they said to put my details in writing to them along withh photo copies of the origonal policy docs and they will investigate further so at least the ball is rolling now.
