Tbh, I didn't know I could, I was very inexpierenced at all this and it wasn't until I was going through all the letters regards the Halifax Credit Card that I found no default notice or even letter saying the account was heading for a default.

 

Despite my lack of knowledge or even stupidness, is there any way that I can try push for proof of Halifax issuing a letter of default or even notice of warning that account was going to be defaulted ??

the default is prob due to more than 6mts of late payment

which they have now refunded.

 

so you need to write to them

and ask them why, when they ack'd the charges were unfair etc

by refunding them.

they did not remove the markers

so could they please now do so

 

there is no relationship between a default notice

and a default on a credit file.

set your default scan page size to A4 less than 300DPI [150 will do]

scan the required letters/agreements/sheets - as a picture[jpg] file

don't forget you can use a mobile phone or a digital camera too!!

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc

but leave all monetary figures and dates.

put them in a word doc FIRST and convert that to PDF

it would be better to upload a multipage pdf if

you have many images too rather than many single pdfs

try and logically name your file so people know what it is.

though DONT USE BANK NAMES or CAG in the title

i'e Default notice DD-mm-yyyy

open a new msg box here

hit go advanced below the msg box

hit manage attachments below that box

hit the add files button on the top right

hit select files, navigate to your file on your pc

hit upload files

...

YOU DONT have to put a link to the attachment in the msg box..just upload it ..job done

you can click on your links to check them too!
