Hello people,

I am in desperate need of urgent advice.

My car is in a spot of bother, I had it towed to a garage and now the garage found out what was wrong with the car they have quoted me a price on the work.

It comes to just under £1,000! Yep, that's right. Just under a GRAND. :!:

I am not arguing with the price in itself.

The only thing is I have been SO STUPID and agreed to have the work done and they have ordered the parts today to commence work when the parts arrive.

After work has been carried out and they have fixed my car, I will obviously owe them the BILL. :-(

Guys,

I just simply cannot afford this.

I do work, I have a full time job and get paid weekly but I am well over my overdraft limit (I know it's hard not to, but please don't judge me)

and every single week when my wages go in the bank, the overdraft swallows them up and so I don't even see them (my wages, that is).

It's my fault for being overdrawn, I know. I also have a credit card but the limit on the card is not enough for the amount the garage want from me.

I am in urgent need of help/advice, what on earth can I do?

It's a shame garage bills need to be paid in a "oner" (one lump sum; the full amount on the day).

What do I do not being able to afford the work?

I am so worried it is making me ill.

you need to look at all your other non priority bills

moblie phones

payday loans

cat debts

credit card debts.

drop 'em or pay £1 for 1 month.

ever thought of reclaiming unlawful penalty fees [£12 late/over/letter/phone]

what are all these other DD's

list them

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
