Hard to know where to start... and how far back.... sorry may be a bit lengthy...

This thread and ask for help has been forced after reading the threads on Wentworth direct finance, and realising what I've done, where I've got to ( I need to try and claim my £69 as I contacted them last week even though I knew too good to be true!)...

Situation is I'm drowning in it.... I have spent too long keeping my debt "sorted"... for the past 2 years I have been managing near £50k of debt all unsecured direct with the lenders, paying agreed small amounts... and have sort of been getting there, without ever seeing anything get better.... but at least it has kept life going to an extent.

Without going into the reasons, 18months ago I took a £5k paycut, and I have nothing left at the end of the month now spare.... about 5 months ago I had a problem that I needed £200 to cover a couple of payments - I had that actually due to me in expenses, but because of some error it was not paid when expected so I had to wait another week for it, I approached my bank ( Nat West) and said I had 2 options, them for a 1 week overdraft limit ( as both salary and that £200 were due the following week) or payday loans... they REFUSED!!... so I ended up payday loans...

Now, 5 months later I am due to pay at the end of the month over £2000 in payday loans, and my salary is only 1800...... oh dear.... Didn't help me having 2 months where my salary was deducted adjustments for tax so I had a few hundred shortfall then, and having to find £300 to fix the house electrics... so it has snowballed out of control....

I have money tied up in the house ( way in excess of the total debt!) and want to sell the house - makes sense.... I approached the bank again a couple of months ago with a view to short term help - a secured £1000 overdraft say to ensure I have some money to pay for a few things that will help sell the property and clear what payday money was outstanding... don't laugh but the idiot at the bank (nat west)suggested they take over my mortgage and increase my mortgage from current £100k to £140k to pay off all debts, saying that the security is there, and affordability to py that mortgage... even though I know it was not... THAT was all they could help with.... absolute rubbish to me that.

So - I am stll trying to find a way of getting together some cash to help me sell the house and just clear my short term debts and some longer term debt, and just find time to breath and live, as I feel now life is becoming so unworth living (especially as I struggle to communicate with my wife as she is suffering from alcoholism and is teatering on bipolar depression).... Just feel like walking away except I have 2 kids who are worth the world and just want to be a good dad... Thank for listening

We can help on your payday loans, so let's start there. List the number of lenders so we can advise.

Due at end of Month is Wonga 1100, SwiftSterling 470, QuickQuid 750, 1monthloan 390.... ideallyI am hoping to pay off with 1 payment and clear that in 12 months, whilst also trying to sell my house and start to ease pressure by taking some money out of that and clearing things up....

Have already looked up Credit Unions after advice last night - Thanks for that!

SO SO frustrating, I just wanted to buy some breathing space to sell up, and now I feel that has been dred up by these crook at Wentowrth - am about to contact them and tell them I want my money back as well as the bank...

hello here goes ..first stop worrying ul be ok in the end ...now email all the payday loan lenders and tell them ur in great financial trouble and that you need a payment plan put in place with them asap..quick quid will tell u that a payment plan cant be done //or that u cant have a plan until u have defaulted first with them.so cancel all direct debits to all of them immediatly and cancel your bank card too and tell your bank u lost ur card (use ur wifes) till ur new one arrives ..this ensures the payday loan rogues cant touch your account and illegally raid it and if you can change your bank account thats even better .as said previously default with each one and after the default due day email all of them again asking and reminding them u require help with a plan ,quick quid do them for up to six months if u get an understanding american.or for 3 months ..dont be afraid to do this i was also in r position not that long ago and these forums helped me to be free of them too so u can do this and ul be just grand in a few months time .....stick to ur guns with a;; pdl some may be awkward some may not but try not to speak on the phone to them ...go get em and good luck and let us know how u get on and please read loads of other forums on the payday lenders u use for additional info xx:jaw::violin:
