Hi everyone, my friend who is on hrm and mrc also esa support group is moving from uk to

northern ireland, what my friend wants to know is will he have to reclaim all his benefits in

northern ireland or will it be just a simple change of address. Any help would be appreciated,

we moved to a different area on the mainland this year,involving a new office dealing our ib and i/s claims with no problems,same for dla we just notified them of the new address

Not necessarily. Benefits in NI are handled by the Social Security Agency for Northern Ireland, rather than the DWP. So it may be a little more complex. I'd have a look at their website and maybe try to contact them.

Thanks antone, went on website didnt really tell me anything, my friend will have to

phone them up i think, he was getting told different advice, someone told him all he

had to do was change his address but thanks for advice.
