Had an acc with wonga that settled in may 2011 have all my bank statements that prove payment were made. I have just received a letter from red castle asking me for £119.00 outstanding from a closed acc.... I called wonga and recorded the call ( got their consent) they apologised and told me to call the dtc and explain and show them my statements to prove i paid and i refused to deal with any third party that i have no dealings with that should be them that sort that out...( i've been on this forum long enough to know that we do not talk to dtc... Please advice on what i can do now i know the debit is 1000% settled but knowing dtc's they dont care they just want easy money..

Once we have the account back with us we will then write off any interest that has been accumulated on the account. Please use this email as confirmation that payment has been made in full.

Nice one. Now get a complaint into the OFT, and don't forget to check your credit rating, this should not be showing as in arrears or anything.

The complaint is that they caused you a lot of stress and worry and time over sorting out what was their poor administration of the account.
