If you can pay at the end of

the month have you told them

this?

No doubt there are penalty

charges for late payments.

I seems odd that if the payment

was due 01/10/11 that it's

being passed to a DCA on

the 2nd.

Is there more to this???

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.

It's because the Lender and the DCA are owned by the same person, they just pass the debt to the DCA so the DCA can slap on some extra fees for accepting the file.

Best thing to do is to offer them the amount originally owed (loan amount + one month interest - any payments made) until they accept.

Also best to change Bank immediately as otherwise they will hammer your debit card each and every day with completely random amounts leaving you with nothing to pay rent, food and so on.

Agreed, cancel your debit card and inform

your bank the account is compromised, as

some automated systems may be able to

access your account even with a newly issued

card.

Get that email to the OFT, they are not allowed to charge for debt collecting, it is their own company and own 'fake' bailiff form , who CANNOT act as bailiffs.

If they go to court they cannot automatically win if you defend, and I can write a good defence, they have been seen off several times this year in court and are not very adept at getting their documentation in on time.
