hi just a quick ask,,im trying to deal with payday loan companies but they are refusing my offers to repay saying the amount is not acceptable,ive checked the terms and conditions and it states that this contract is governed by english and welsh law,but i live in scotland,can i fight them over the t&c's by saying the contract is not enforceable as it does not state scotland?thanks

hi thanks for reply,do they have to inform me when they are applying for a court order?,all the emails are threatening wage arrestment and bailiffs even though we dont have bailiffs in scotland,i just want the chance to show the judge that i offered payment and they refused it
