No, no updates yet. Daughter had a text off them yesterday while at school. Letter only posted today (no stamps!) which they will get on Monday. Will see what happens then.

There is some reluctance by them to give out their actual postal address as they hide behind a PO box so they that they can't accept recorded delivery mail but their address is:

so you can send them your mail by signed for post..

A Friend on another site posted this so I thought I would do the right thing and do likewise.. Enjoy.

PO Boxes mail can accept signed for but the items are held at a post office until a company representative turns up and signs for them. Having a Po Box doesnt discount signed for items but they could refuse to sign for them

 

Then again, in theoy they could refuse to sign for items that go to their normal postal addres.

The refusal to sign would also be noted and would be able to be used in court too..

I am writing in relation to the quantity and frequency of telephone calls that I have received from your company, which I deem to be personally harassing.

 

I have verbally requested that these stop, but I am still receiving calls. (Delete if necessary)

 

I now require all further correspondence from your company to be made in writing only.

 

I am of the view that your continued harassment of me by telephone puts you in breach of Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970, and the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

 

If you continue to harass me by telephone, you will also be in breach of the Communications Act (2003) s.127 and I will report you to OFCOM, Trading Standards and The Office of Fair Trading, meaning that you will be liable to a substantial fine.

 

Be advised that any further telephone calls from your company will be recorded. (**Even if you don‘t yet have recording equipment!!**)

OP - Simply edit the letter to show that the number they are calling is your daugthers and that she is a minor and they are to communicate with yourself about the matter in writing only.

Hi Teaboy,

Naturally this was an option, but in the circumstances I felt that a specific, personally written letter would be more effective and to the point. If they continued after this then amended sections of the above template may be appropriate to include within an escalated complaint.

They get loads of these templates and know where they come from.
