Hi I run a no win no fee telecoms compensation company , over the last 6 months we have had an 75% success rate in sorting problems relating to BT & unfair telecoms practice , BT rely on their sheer size to completely ignore your complaint or problem same with other companies but not as prolific .

When you enter into a contract with Bt other provider you are both agreeing to keep your side of the bargain ,your side mostly consists of paying on time and not abusing people using the telephone. Bt or other telecoms company has to supply the service you signed up for , example not responding to problems when there is an issue with the service you have been provided is not working like it should or has failed totally is a breach of contract and can invalidate the contract leading to possible compensation e.g case example business company we recently achieved 8k in compensation , lettings agent , who has 75% of his business through the web lost his internet from BT for 8 weeks due to a fault at the exchange no one would help him typical BT kicked around every dept etc etc

lost 4k worth of business , using contract law got him the 4k compensated and 4k in damages took 4 weeks .

Home user got outgoing calls barred due to an outstanding bill when bt swapped his package and forgot to mention he had an outstanding amount that was not transferred to new account was not in arrears at the time so not there fault , outgoing calls were cut and it took two weeks to establish the reason as BT being BT no one had a clue , breach of contract imagine if this person had an emergency at home and needed to call an ambulance etc etc

Tips for success keep a record of date time of every call to BT other telecom provider , amount of time on hold , name of person if possible who you spoke to , emailing BTor other is more effective insist they reply by email keep all emails , get a copy of paper contract or verbal contract as soon as possible as especially verbal contracts they are usually very weak
