hi,ive been out of work for 9 months and i have got insurance policy paying my 1st charge mortgage but i also have a secured loan with no insurance does anyone know if jsa will help towards my monthly payments of 282.00 i am married with 3 children my wife is unemployed aswell any help greatly appreciated.

Hi a secured loan can be classed as a second mortgage and it depends what you took the loan out for, did it help to buy the house or was it spent on improvements

If you have been on JSA for thirteen weeks then I would contact the job centre to send you a MI12 for you to send to your lender.

Its may need to go to a decision maker.

they will not help with the amount that you borrowed to consolidate but may with the kictchen part

its worth a phone call and asking for the form, they will ask for a breakdown on how you spent the money and may ask if you have receipts
