If you were around just before prohibition started and came across this poster:

Would you give up drinking?

Fred

Before you criticise another man you should first walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you criticise him, you'll be a mile away and he won't have any shoes on.

Don't get me confused with somebody knowledgeable by all those green blobs. I got most of them by making people laugh.

I am not European, I am English.

If you were around just before prohibition started

You would be dead.

But at least i know now why it was also known as the noble experiment.

You would need more than just alcohol to experiment with that lot.

I Wish you everything you wish yourself.

After 14 pints of Stella they'd look fine to me as well. Luckily, after 14 pints of Stella, I'd be incapable of doing anything about it. Stella is at one time the cause and the cure.

I saw the title and I just knew the Dalek was behind it.

Anyway, that's a lie, anyonewho knows me knows that alcohol has never been a cause for not allowing men to kiss me. Quite the opposite in fact if blurred memory serves.

Bookie, I will only admit to the first word of that title. The rest of it has been subjected to 'dodgy dossier' editing.

DMD,

My advice to you mate is to cut a picture of that one out and put it in your wallet. When you go to the pub, take the picture out and put it on the bar. When you get those feelings again it means you have too much to drink and must go home. If that doesn't work, try the same thing with the one on the far left. If the feelings still persist, seek medical attention as a matter of the utmost urgency and keep one eye out for men in white coats.

Regards.

Fred

Cherie Blair would have been included but she was just too ugly.
