It's pretty strong to suggest someone has Bipolar Disorder when you know nothing about them or their medical history and I don't see a description of "off days" as suggesting anything like Bipolar Disorder. I think the medical diagnosis is best left to his GP and specialist, if he is referred to one.

It's OK pinky, I'm not offended, everyone's entitled to their opinion, it's something for me to look into.

That's the problem with psychotic / psychiatric issues, the illness is not visabile, diagnosis is based on the individual disclosing various symptoms.

Don't be so silly I'm not making a diagnoses I'm suggesting a possibility based I might add on the fact that I have dealt with sufferers of the illness. Bipolar is one of the most under diagnosed mental illnesses in the country which is one of the reasons you don't no about yet once recognised is fully treatable

Von it's important that you consult your GP & ask him because if it's true it will explain your admitting the debt when you didn't want to

Finally I suggest you Google it to find out more

I wasn't being silly and don't be so cheeky. I think to suggest someone may have a serious psychiatric illness because they have "off" days and filled a form up wrongly when you know nothing about them or their medical history is right out of order.

I have attended a few mental health awareness training programmes and although i'm a bit rusty (It's not my main field of work, child protection is) but I think under the mental health act there is a criteria for vulnerable people to be entitled to an advocate should If you have a CPN (community psychiatric Nurse) they could support you in obtaining an advocate? They are a very good resource and can sign post you on to other agencies that may be of use.

It may be worth contacting NHS direct and asking them what support networks (and charities) are in your area and how you can acess them. Some one from those organisations may be able to give you the support you need and help you through this

I am not so sure its a good idea to have all these multiple threads-its a little confusing and would save you having to keep repeating the background stuff-anyway I think theres a lot of people who have been following from the start.

hi

Following numerous failed appeals, we now have a court date set for NR to be awarded a CO against our property, the creditor was initially awarded a forthwith judgement, I've read and read details about Mercantile V Ellis, but cannot find any relevant information regarding a CO, it's all so confusing, can anyone help please, is there anything within the Mercantile V Ellis that stopped the creditor being awarded a CO?

TIA

What happened next….?! Hate it when it just trails off and you don't know how it all ends… but I am guessing it was more of the same… nasty, biased Judges who hate LIPs. There is no access to justice unless you are rich enough to pay someone to argue your case. Dreadful.
