Any credit card taken out before 2007

I have seen a company,offering to clear your cards,get compensation,and minimum payout £5000.

No win no fee

Could this be possible?

 

I have 10 different credit cards

All which are defaulted since around 2002

Or is there another way I could stop paying these credit cards

No probs, have a good read around the site, there are charges to be reclaimed on credit cards, defaults to be removed from credit cards and the whole nine yards. Easily worth starting a thread on each one and people can help.

Statute Barred -- 6 years

 

2002 + 6 = 2008 so you are sitting pretty provided NO MONEY paid in or debt acknowledged.

 

Statute Barred trumps everything else -- end of story.

 

You are amazingly lucky if you haven't paid since 2002 and have no court orders on any of these cards.

I have never heard of anyone offering to do this before, but it does sound too good to be true

As above, if you have not made any payments to a debt, or received any correspondence or communication with that creditor, the debt will become statute barred and you are not liable for this.
