the reason why they want you to go to there office and sign is

it will be a non concealable agreement as signed on trade premises

if its going back to the beginning then there are to be no charges, period

please please do not sign nothing until welcome give it to you in black and white

we all know how shy they are with that

if you go to sign the new contract, when the give it you, go into a corner on your own and read it and read it again before you sign as you will not be able to cancel

Thats what an official from the FOS said today via phone and Welcome cant keep my money cos the 2 accounts are now all paid up.

Was on the phone to Welcome today and I asked about arrears and she said that the new contracts will be dated from the new start date without any PPI and any arrears.

So I said so in effect I dont owe you anything because the accounts are now all paid up as of yesterday, she then said they may remove all the arrears.

My question then was that if the PPI was not added to the loan in the begining then any arrears would not be added to the account so in effect Welcome owe me more money.

I have a contract here to sign and send back for a loan but the car I have to go to the local branch and sign on there premises, I didnt with the first agreement so whats changed.

Welcome and the FOS said the contracts will be dated from the beginning without any PPI added.

One account the payment had dropped from £326 a month to £244.00 saving me a whopping £82 a month. Now times that by 37 months (£3034) plus there interest rate which I didnt know was this high (30.27%) plus the 8% stat interest rate and the £200 they owe me for the hassle, and thats just one account.

Another one to go :)

Regards

As before BEWARE do not sign any new agreements. Do not sign any new paper work just let them adjust the existing agreement to show NO PPI and to refund you the mis-sold PPI plus the interest. Be ever watchful for tricks as they are full of them.

Bank charge successes:

Halifax - Full settlement incl interest.

HSBC - Settlement, goodwill no admission of liability about 75% of claim.

RBS - Settlement, goodwill no admission of liability about 70% of claim.

2 ongoing claims for bank charges with HSBC with more to come. (Supreme Court ruling could have upset these claims) They did

PPI Successes

PPI 4 settlements on 9 loans. FOS involvement on 7 added on the 8 % Statutory interest another 30% to both.

2 claims settled in full with LV without FOS involvement.

2 claims settled in full with HSBC without FOS involvement

PPI Claims ongoing with:

Cap one Now with the FOS

Barclays. Paid up today 24/04/10 cheque received for over £4,500 and in the bank.

LTSB still have to decide on this as their SAR production was abysmal. Papers data mixed up documents missing etc

1 Complaint not upheld by FOS they said it was ICO issue. Complaint upheld by ICO. See this..

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.

Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.

I understand that but why would I cancel an agreement that in effect is paid up already. The loan finished yesterday and the car finished in July.

The reason its gone on a few months more is arrears and Im trying to get that refunded as well because if they had not put the PPI on the agreement in the first place, the payments would of been more managable.

I cant see any reason what they would gain from it?

Welcome say this is now how they send out new contracts, it looks like a photocopy and not an actual contract like when I originally signed?

Also today I've received a photocopy of a new contract but although they say in the letters above that the new contracts will be back dated, the new contract dont have any dates on them?

So are they legal contracts?

If you go to the home page, a ppi calculator is listed there for you.

I myself am sarting out with these morons and will enjoy messing with their heads..

See it through and be brave, they know you are worried whats at stake, but if you can remove yourself emotionally from the worry of losing all that cash then you will see that this is just a blag from them.

That contract is so illegal its silly!! If you were to sign that then someone at Welcome is going to the nick.. :)

Trust me, i know, ive had plenty of cash back and deal with this type of **** in my job as a finance debt advisor.

Sock it to em

Thats an interest calc, looking for one that give you a final figure for a PPI claim but I have tried the one on here and get confused :)

Regarding Wescum Im not giving up no way to much to loose £8000 plus but Im more concerned because they have given me a dead line and the FOS say the contracts are normal to sign.

Now, if I sign this contract and the one at their local office Im concerned to the point if they are trying to con me in some way, hence the urgency in seeking help.

Regards.
