just pay what you can. you can't pay what you don't have.

don't get bullied into paying something you don't have as they are very good at doing that.

they prob get snotty but just say tough. dont worry about it too much in the end, as said you can't pay what you dont have

If my advice has been helpful please feel free to click on my scales

Contact the DCA (in writing only) and ask them to produce a copy of the agreement between yourself and Orange, also you would like a statement of the account.

If you don't have one, contact Orange and ask them for a copy of your last statement. whilst you're on with Orange, it may be worth negotiating a repayment plan directly with them and remove the Debt collecter from the loop entirely, the DCA will not like this and will squeal like the little piggies they are, but if you're paying the Original Creditor, there's nothing they can do to you.

If you choose not to negotiate with Orange, or they refuse your offer, you will need both of the documents mentioned above

Once you have these documents you will be in a position to judge accurately how much the DCA have added to the account

The DCA is not allowed to add their own interest or collection charges to a debt unless it is written into the original agreement.

if this hasd been of help please feel free to tip the scales

not very likely. most of what they say is just bull and bluster, using words to strike fear into their clients. some companies seem to actually go through with their threats (Scotcall) but most of them don't

if anyone did actually attend, they would have no more authority than the ice cream man.

Only the courts have the powers to send enforcement officers (bailiffs) to your property to remove goods. regardless of what anyone else may tell you, this has always and will always be the case.

Your mum would be well within her rights to tell them (should they actually show) to b*gger off and if they got shirty or refused to leave, call the police and tell them a poor old lady who lives alone is being threatened by a loan shark.

The police would love it

Bet you its Mr P Brown (should probably be Mr P Brain).

Dont worry this person is just a figment of their tiny minds and promises people the length and breath of Britain that he will be calling with them on a Tuesday between 8-00am and 9-00pm. They send these silly cards out in order to get people to phone their call centre bullies.
