hello, my name is ashley and im well on the way to hopefully recieving my bank charges back.

I have sent my letter re: Discrimination act requesting my statements and charges... within 2 weeks I recieved a letter from HSBC saying they are processing my query and i would recieve my 4 years worth of statements shortly, they also refunded my fee of £10. i have so far recieved 16 letters once i have a total i will be ready to send my next letter requesting the money to be refunded!

All looking promising!! Any advise from anyone already dealing with HSBC??

Ash

Discrimination act you say... interesting new angle :)

Just the FAQ’s ma'am. Please read 'em thoroughly before jumping in. Cheers :)

Hi! My name is Digger and I am a newby to the forum! After almost 10 years HSBC customer and overcharged to the limit, I thought its time to do something about it! Could anybody give me some advice or ideas for the first letter to HSBC to get my statements for these years!

Welcome to the forum, both of you. Claiming your bank charges is reasonably straightforward but you will have to understand what you're doing.

Spend four or five days reading the FAQ and the forum material and then you should be ready to start. Start posting in the appropriate forum for your bank. You will get lots of help and support
