  1. Correct, You'll be paying interest on a £100 loan but only getting £85 of that £100 if you go for the faster transfer option. However, please try and avoid it all together. Regards
  2. Hi guys, thanks for your help and sorry a about the late reply. My friend said she "couldn't be doing with the mider" and ended up just paying it! Thanks!
  3. Hi there, A friend of mine has received a pcn in the post. They have pictures of her Reg driving in and out of the shopping centre. She knows she bought a ticket and would to dispute it. Would you have any ideas or help regarding this? Thank you very much!
  4. I have dealt with QuickQuid on multiple occasions via their live chat. They were really helpful and i had a plan set up in minutes. They didn't even ask why i couldn't pay. They have a predefault payment plan which i think is splitting your debt into 3 monthly payments. Or, if you can't afford that per month, they can put you on a longer one!
  5. Hi guys, Just had a letter today from Amigo loans about "my £500 loan application" that had been passed onto them by "Loan Platform". I have not applied for any sort of loan for a good 6 months now and have no idea who "Loan Platform" are. I have rang Amigo up and they have said they have had other calls about the same broker but the guy on the phone said he knows nothing of them. Has anyone else had this type of letter? Could it simply be Amigo send my letters to tempt me? Thanks
  6. Yeah, its pretty pathetic. Last year in times of struggle i had to take out a loan from these every month for £400, god only knows how much i paid them back in total, thankfully im payday loan free now. Does anyone know of any information about these guys being shut down? I heard from someone on here that they were getting closed down? Thanks
  7. Just thought i would share to you that i noticed Toothfairy have a new looking website! https://www.toothfairyfinance.com/
  8. It would have been somewhere on those 3 brokerage websites that they were going to take after so many days. They don't charge you on the day you sign the agreement with them because they know cant afford it anyway. You must have entered the card details wherever "your sons benefits money" is kept. Which was a silly thing to do.
  9. Like i said i'm not too experienced with that side of things. But my opinion would suggest that there's unfortunately little chance you'll get your money back simply because you agreed to the fee. Where to card details you entered online different to those they took the money from?
  10. Do what the others have said an demand your money back from the bank. I'm not very experienced with that side of things but you did agree to the charge at the time.I agree its quite deceptive of them, but its a brokerage fee that they charged you so many days after in order from them to find you a suitable loan.
  11. As far as i am aware of MyLoans, the £69.99 charge was to try and find you a suitable loan. As in a fee. I have been directed to them before but managed to leave before entering my card details.
  12. Hi renegadeimp If this is the case, i shall just leave them open and not log in. Will they not randomly check/search my credit file because i simply have an account? Regards PSmith
  13. Hi all, been a while since i last posted about my issues with payday loan companies. Fortunately i have managed to stay away from these companies but i was just wondering if simply having accounts with these companies will affect my credit rating. For example, i still have open accounts with Wonga and Quickquid. I have no active loans out with them but is it worth ringing round each payday loan company (around 8) asking them to close my account? Thanks in advance, PSMITH
