  1. i cant believe the excessively corroded brake discs got past the MOT!!
  2. remember to send it recorded delivery. I work in a call centre as well, and most tmes people think ts the agents on the phone that dont do their job properly or follow thngs through. Infact in most of these organisations the agents only take the info, and their is then staff who dont work the phones that deal wth these issues. In most cases this is where the problems start....
  3. for 1 missed payment it seems harsh.... and you are re-insuring with them.... madness id be away somewhere else after that type of treatment
  4. i know Swinton charge this! thankfully my insurance company dont charge hese silly charges
  5. Im sure Avro would like hel whereever possible. CAG is all about people who may have experienced a similar problem, or aybe who have knowledge f the area helping other CAGGERS. There is no fee involved, but donations to the website are welcome. I didnt offer AVRO help because im not knowledgable in Business Energy. If i was i wouldve offered advice free of charge... I am knowledgable in other areas as everyone is, and there i will offer advice, as will everyone else around here. People on here get satisfaction by helping other people help themselves against some very large companies who trample over anyone that will let them. Stick about......
  6. I assume your company charge for this, i notice from your website, you aim to save companies money..... Im sure if you read the rules, you will notice your not meant to advertise your business in anyway. People use CAG to seek advice and help from people who have had the same problems. These people dont charge but people can then donate to CAG. You may notice if you take time to go around this forum that companies have OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVES that will help the poster with their problem. These people have to be given OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE status by CAG. i notice you dont have this. Im sure if i call British Gas Business, they will confirm you do not work on their behalf. Enough said on this think.
  7. Yes because you are not an official representative. You seem to work for a business/are a business - David Brown Consulting..... Simple... you dont work for British Gas, therefore i wouldnt give you my details.. You are not an official representative noticed by CAG..... I think the Mods should come on in this one as well.
  8. I would strongly ADVISE AGAINST giving the above poster any information whatsoever.....
  9. Ok so this is one company i still need to clear, and the extension fee is £47.88 as indicated by their website with the final payment of £230.01 due next mth. As i now get my wages paid into different account, i xfer money over to pay them each month. I called them today and was asked for £63.88... i indicated this was not what their website indicated... the guy came back and said it as a mistake and now asked for £57.88. iasked why this was different to what the website indicated, i was tld this was the charge.... i said i wasnt paying that and explained i assume they have chucked a fee on as the initail payment was declined. guy wouldnt confirm this. He wouldnt take the £47.88 payment from me either and he terminated the call. i called my bank who advised me the 1 declined transaction from 247 was for £21.32.... eh??? why so low?? so i called back, same guy answered onc he realised it was me, he sai you've been told what you owe us today nd hung up on me..... So now what do i do??? cca? sar? let them take me to court!!1 that would be fun!! I just dont want them ringing my work, so im gonna fire a letter of requesting all contact by letter. I have also taken screen dump of my account on their website showing what is owed and when.. Thanks in advance
  10. I love all these companies.... my credit is shot to pieces, so when u ring these people they advise if you dont pay your credit will suffer...... awww! A lot of y debt is form years ago, and i generally just bin the letters, generally the companies give up and leave me alone. A few bills have been aid over the years, but mostly when im offered a nice big cut price deal.....
  11. I have sat and read any threads about the drainage charges that are charged.... Originally from Northern ireland i believe this is something not charged by N Ireland water. What baffles me is how they calculate such how bills..... Im off the opinion that irrespctive of weather, then if their drains block up and i get flooded... then for my say £11,000 i deem this company to have failed in draining my property and as a result wholly responsibe for all damage caused, and clean u bills... Come on government, these companies need to be held financially accountable for floods that occur.
  12. i googled it, and it brought up Wage Day Advance!! am i right!!??
  13. Autoglass are robbers.... I had a cracked windscreen, but as only 3rd party not covered. Called and was quoted £295, called a locl windscreen company, and they done it for £99. As he was fixing it we were having a nattr and i said howmuch autoglass wanted for it.... He then asked me to guess where the wondscreen came from??? gueess where?? yes autoglass! So he was able to buy it from them install it as well for £99, and still make a cpl of quid!!! Robbers!!
  14. Another examplle of insurers not fulfilling their duties on the 3rd parties half. It wasnt your fault, so you shold get like for like, or it fixed. Aviva are a poor company, and very expensive,,, I recently acled for a quote, and after being given it, i responded by,, no wonder you uys arent on comparison websites, cos no one would pay yu extorniate premiums. They quoted me £2000, i got the same quote, with a lower excess for just over £400.
  15. Money Shop = payday express. same company 99%
  16. This lot are just a bunch of bullies - saying that they are probably a cpl of men in an office wearing dresses... the emails are a way of them showing some form of masculinity!!
  17. Its alway Natwest that allow these payments thru when there arent available funds......
  18. No harm in going into shop, they should have a copy of the loan agreement there. If they dont play ball, then yes a rquest needs to be made.
  19. id love to know what type of car they would buy for 100k!!
  20. I would advise the you will make payment in branch, and by no other methods!
  21. So they have had a slap on the wrists by the OFT..... I take it thats why they now charge an admin fee of at least £49.99.. story here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-12934140
  22. exactly the reason why you shudnt use brokers!! but do believe they are talking tosh
  23. im buying a 2nd hand car the now. went on one dealer, liked a car, 3mths mot on it. i asked him to put it through an mot, he refused, but was quick to knock £150 off the price.... no thanks pal.. you know there is something wrong!!! Went to another garage, and his car had 4mths, again i asked him to do MOT, which he said no problem!! Gives me confidence that the garage has confidence in their own car.
  24. After getting t boned by a car , ( i was a motor bike rider) mr solicitor was offered £3k by other party. This happened in Belfast, i was now living in Scotland....
