  1. Well most of them were good, got their payments no hassle. But lo and behold the bank just blocked the card due to several declined transactions (only debit card we have so useful)..... Wages were paid in another acc, tried faster payments. wouldnt work on all of them. So i transferred money over to the debit account, ut in saving and xferred set amount for each company. Paid Wonga at 9am........ they have tried to take twice since PDUK said i had 2 wait til tomorro, i adb not acceptable, just so they could charge me a late fee. - eventually took payment and set payment plan. then retried 1hr later. Express-i paid £200 0f a £400 loan, called them to adv, and they said i hadnt paid the deferal charge. i was like deferral £40 - i paid £200 work it out. they said i must pay an exta £15. I told them they can take me to court when i refuse to pay it next mth, and they can then explain to the judge how the £200 pament didnt cover the £40 deferral fee!! other than that 1 mth in 5 mths to go!!!
  2. I think you'll get nowhere on this one. to be honest. Just like them digging a hole on grass, they will cover back wont reseed..... if you see where im coming from. When the utilities dig on the road, they do a crap job at filling the hole there, so i very much doubt they are going to re tarmac your drive. You can try, but i think you have a 1 in a trillion chance.
  3. i think th same company. why would th only numbe on active securities be a number for moneybox. im not in arrears, infact they are getting paid in full, but duboius!!! someone will have a sore ear in the morning.....
  4. maybe u need a magna clean filter??? did they point this out before?? if they did u aint got a leg to stand on if not..... ring them....
  5. same company??? Big complaint.... just had a message left on my pphone 9.32pm.... reminding me payments due on tuesday. She is lucky i didnt answer... 9.32.. surely against the rules!! Rang the number in a queue (free calls)... googled active securities and i get an answer machine from moneybox247 - we are closed..... Why is one line telling me reps are busy?? one line they are closed....
  6. be honest in your emails, and dont seem to be agressive. i wouldnt mention interest etc in first email, just offer a 6mth plan. I recenty contacted 10companies and set up payment plans and had trouble with 2, but the majority were reasonable.
  7. set up a new bank account to pay wonga from, have any wages etc paid into this new account. be on the safe side
  8. ok i found if you tallk court they will be agressive. i recently emailled wonga explaining the situation. they quicky reponded my email, asking me to call to arrange, now when you call they say you have to default but when you say i recieved an email from collections they set up up freezing interest. i would still cancel debit card, and set up a standing order. email: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] be nice and non agressive in email, and they will halp. sending an email spounting off about court, interest i find in non helpful. hope that helps. this route i found worked really well
  9. ok so i meailled and surprise it comes back undelivered. I have reported to ofcom, and been passed to the information commisioner, who surprise surprise advise this company is being investiagted currently, case file sent.
  10. http://www.gbcf.co.uk/ these are the jokers behind cashline, 247cash &puplepayday and also seemingly pushpayday, but using a guise of websites... bt like loan centre and loan finder who i also think are the same people.. 17 messages is surely harrassment. any telephone numbers would be great.... neither of these websites have a telephone number
  11. no legal eagle, ut a SAR is required here. Getting this will let you see what the credit agreement as for. Also the terms and condtion etc and th insurance policies should be attatched showing what your covered for. Im sure from here someone on here will be better placed to advise you further
  12. www.paydaypush.com puts you to www.999payday.com. Total con as this people are the same as puplepayday loans. im gonna find a number. i got all the texts for my phone, and 17messages in one day, i class well and truly as harrassment.
  13. I need help.. they have sent 12+ text messages today inviting me to apply. i refuse to send the stop text, as this company GB finance run several payday companies, and tomorrow another one of their companies will text tomorrow. Any numbers for these companies? as there are no number on any of the websites.... Are they connected to Loan centre, im sure when i applied once for purple payday it directed me to loan centre. Im getting seriously peeved off. Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks
  14. OK..... you need to tell them your financial circumstances have changed, and thats why you need to go on repayment plan. I think you got the answer you did, as your gripe is the amount of interest! which is alot.... Take another angle, and ring them. then they will confirm by email;.
  15. I take it the family upstairs share the same meter? If so i feel for them if they having been paying the landlady money for the electricity. Normally a%payment gets it back on.
  16. What did your email to them say??? Seems they have been about annoyed in the answer. I recently set up a repayment plan, done it by phone and got confirmation by email I had no problems with WDA, infact very helpful, didnt even ask for income/expenditure.
  17. Firstly, whenever its very busy, they will always prioritise the elderly and most vulnerable. SO if Hanief isnt a pensioner, or a very young child, then the fact you had tto wait to weeks, while uncomfortable and not what we expect, the court i think would side with homeserve... In terms of not identifying the problem... id dont think this is court worthy. Unless they left your boiler unsafe, and there was risk caused because of this then you hve a point. Hanief never really ent into too much, so im not sure what exactly the problem was. ITF - good luck with your case. People have to remember homeserve use mostly subbies, and there is only so much subbies in one area, and when Homeserve do work for themselves, and every other tom dick and harry outfit, then there will be times they are over prescribed in particular areas.
  18. I didnt try to avoid my debts either.... however due to financials at the time i simply couldnt afford to pay. Im currently for DAF (yes car) for a car i had 6weeks. They wanted £6300, i di try to push that 6years only for them to find me 3ths before the 6yr mark. Im paying back £1500 of that. Unfortunately once they pass it Egg wont take it back. You will have to deal with them. They will try to take as much out fo you, so you have to be firm. They will be ignorant, arrogant on the phone, and will most likely try to scare the sh!t out of you.... dont let them. Just keep every letter, and a note of every call they make to harras you, cos that they will. I did gets letters from them but i just ignored them ( not always best advice) but they went away. The debt i dont think was big enough for them to take action against me. Be Firm, and only pay what you can afford. Never pay any extra, as they will then expect this every month. Ive been down that road before with DCA's.
  19. I was adv my PDUk they couldnt do anything til my paydate and i defaulted. Really all my repayment plans were set up with ease, only express caused me problems.... WDA seat up a repayment plan no questions asked but at a cost of £30 odd quid
  20. I guess Carters were acting on behalf of Egg... i take it was a large amount??? i had a loan with welcome, aint paid anything in at least 4 yrs, aint herd a dicky! also one with Halifax Visa, must be near or more than 6 yrs since i lst made a payment!! Try a token offer. Do you own your home or rent?
  21. just bring every copy of letters, itemised phone bills to show your time trying to solve this, any paperwork from madiators/ombudsman. hate these people feel they are the only ones that go to court, my not even go that far, they might be filing a defence, to call your bluff, so stand firm, closer the date comes, th higher the chance they may settle.
  22. Just cancelled my hometeam 50. refusing to pay cancellation charge. I was told by their sales guy that my full central heating system is covered.... not according to their t&c's: 2.7 Central Heating System means Your gas fired Central Heating System including the Boiler and its Controls together with the pump, motorised valves, cylinder thermostat, time, temperature and pressure controls, radiator valves, pipe work, hot water cylinder feed and expansion tank and primary flueing. mentions central heating pipework, and radiator valves but not radiators.... BEWARE: they tried to say they are, but i pointed out when i try to claim the breakdown guys wll ask me where does it state that they are which i cant!!
  23. Im no legal ealge here, but i take it the meter belongs to Southern Water, dispute the bill, and tell them you wnt the meter reread!! Surely the will then need to make the access to the meter. If the meter is o/side ur house on footpath, you need permission from the council to open the ground up (if im right, whereas they dont!). go for that angle
  24. Cheeky Bugger!! getting a car on motobilit, then selling it. If you bought it from a house, i would sue for the cost of the car if you lose it. Obviously motobility have tried to get the car back, and found out it has been sold. I would want to know if they reported it stolen? If their INsurance company has paid out for the car. If they have then its actually the insurance company that own it.
