I booked a flight for my two children to spend their Summer holiday with their grans. I originally booked for me to travel and return with them, however i later realised that I had to return sooner (work etc) so i called BA explained my situation and requested my original return flight be cancelled as I had used EasyJet to fly back with. I was asked about my plans for the return of my children and I booked a ticket for them to be escorted back with my sister. The lady cancelled my RETURN flight and refunded me some money which was great. I then looked at the emailed itenary and found only my children booked to leave london (ages 6 and 8) I called BA and THEY explained that it was ME who requested for my flight to be cancelled and if i do not pay for another ticket my children would not be allowed to fly and I would lose my money (Why would i want my children to travel on thei own?). I tried and tried to explain but they are not prepared to listen and would not allow me to speak with their management. I would really appriciate some advise.

Hello Sue.

I have just noticed that your post had gone unanswered, sometimes the right people never get around to seeing the right post.

We have a forum this may be better suited to, I will ask for it to be moved, and hopefully you'll get some help.

I think that the OP wanted her return cancelled/re-arranged as she had to come back at an earlier date than expected, but OP still wanted to fly out with her children as previously arranged. BA seems to have cancelled both flights, departure and return, but only refunded for one flight? I think that's what the OP is trying to say...

With an attitude like that, YOU'RE WELCOME:rolleyes:

Maybe BA didn't understand what you were trying to say either.
