There are loads and loads of posters for various nightclubs and concerts down my road, all posted up without permission of the owners of the various buildings / busstops etc.

I was curious to know which laws were broken by this.

Thanks!

For fly-posters on non-private proprty (ie bus stops) you might be able to get the council to remove it, possibly under their 'Graffiti removal' scheme.

Go to the My Council site and there's a list of services your council offers - click Graffiti and enter your postcode and you'll be taken to your local council's relevant form where you report it.

Or, you could try phoning them up as it's not quite graffiti.

That site's a great resource for clearing up your neighbourhood. I often see stuff on the way to work and report it when I get to my desk and it's still fresh in my mind. They will also respond to fly-tipping, abandonned cars, dangerous pavements, etc... and in my area are pretty swift at sorting it once reported.
