How important is it?

I sent my prelim letters on 06/06 and then went away on holiday for a week. in this time i received some responses and have not yet managed to reply to these, meaning that I am outside of the 14 day timeframe I gave the bank in my intial letter.

Does this lose mean my claim will lose credibility?

Hi butwhy,

The 14 days for the prelim letter and 14 days for the LBA are minimum periods as set out in the Civil Procedure Rules so as long as youv'e given them these timescales you will be alright. You will still be alright to reply to these responses as long as you dont leave them for a few months in which case just resend them.

Also check to see if any new charges have been levied since your initial request as you could add these to the claim.
