Hi,

The charges are for arrears. The charges range from £7.33 to £25.00 starting from 1991. We wrote to the DHSS at one point in 1992, as on income support at the time and they wrote to Nationwide on my behalf. The DHSS wrote back to say Nationwide had 'fined' us for making late payments and theres nothing they could do to help us. So all these charges are 'fines' and arrears fees. Is this ok ?

Thanks
