Hi Everyone

This is my first time on this site so not sure wot to do. I have rcvd My Notice of Transfer today to the Birkenhead County Court but do not need to fill in an allocation questionaire, has anyone else had this. I phoned and asked them and they said that it will go straight to the district judge if it is about bank charges. Is this good or bad??????

Hi - I'm new on here too, and am in the same situation as you, mine is in Doncaster on the 11th July against Abbey. Have a browse around- look under the thread for your bank and you'll find everything you need. You need to prepare a court bundle - the basis of which is on this site but it's quite strict how you put it all together and it will need some effort. I've been pulling it all together for a few hours now! but according to everything you read it works! Good luck.

fed up, sneezy,

welcome to the CAG site.

You've definately taken the first step into claiming back what's rightfully yours.

Spend time reading the FAQ's and the Step by Step guide as this will stop you making mistakes along the way. Use the letters and spreadsheets in the Templates Library as these have all been tried and tested in successful claims. Read as many threads as you can especially ones that relate to your bank. This is a SELF HELP site and won’t do the work involved for you. However, everything you need is on here somewhere.

Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, but please remember that any advice that you receive is normally based on experience only and that you should seek expert advice if required.

Once you start the process of your claim remember to open a thread in the relative bank forum, this will enable you, and others helping you, to keep track of your claim.

Good luck with your claim.

Its your money taken unlawfully from your account and you have a legal right to claim it back.

Welcome to the site.

Its true many Courts have now dispensed with the allocation questionaire since its been established that the vast majority of claims are suitable for the small claims court from the outset.

Do not be alarmed this should hopefully speed up your case. You will still be given opportunity to submit drafts or witness statements.

As suggested start a thread in your bank group and read the latest info and advice
