CCA request sent 8th May to 1st Credit relating to MBNA Credit Card from 1995. They signed for it on the 9th May.

Received standard letter from 1st Credit on 14th May saying they will contact MBNA but it could take a month to sort out. Received exactly the same letter on 22nd May.

Their 12 days are up tomorrow.

Whats peoples experiences of dealing with MBNA and has anyone had the proper agreement sent to them from so long ago.

Thanks

Hi this will be interesting, ours was from 96' and the tricks they have pulled.......study very carefully what you receive,if you receive anything at all. Best to wait until the 12 + 30 is up before you tackle it. Remind 1st Credit that you do not acknowledge any debt to them. May I suggest you read through the MBNA properly executed agreements thread started by me! There are lots of documents to refer to on there.

Keep us posted with developments!

Regards,

My CCA is 1996, still waiting ! Apparantly I am expecting something in the post about my CCA, cant wait and have no idea of what to expect.

I won against MBNA, Nat West , Barclays, Barclaycard and PPI payments from Barclaycard

Abbey National still to go.... what will I do with my spare time?

Not one of the DCA's has responded and today the 12 days is up. Now counting down to the 30 day mark.

Has anyone had any dealings with Hollis Briggs Solicitors, they are handling a Bank of Scotland account. they are` the only ones who have not signed for the CCA request sent.

Hi there, yes lots of people have received documents purporting to be their agreements, bear in mind that the timescale is 12 days plus 30 calendar days plus 2 days for delivery.

You can stop paying them after 12 days, however, you need to realise that there will be consequences for this, however unjust or unlawful that is.

It would be a good idea to start your own thread and post the details so that advice is tailored to your circumstances and also not to hijack FYTC's thread. Get this done and we will all help where we can.

Well 1st Credit sent their interpretation of an agreement.

Barely readable photostat of a fax by the looks of it.

Also all of it is hand filled in apart from what appears to be a typed sticker with my name and old address details on.

No T&C's, no APR info, No upto date statement. Just this unreadable singkle sided sheet.

Any ideas what next folks.

It's a microfiche, I am sure of that. I could really do with seeing this up close!!:D

Although sent by Recorded delivery I could not get proof of delivery to Hollis Briggs Solicitors. They have today cashed the £1 cheque though is this proof of them having received letter.

The original creditor is Bank Of Scotland.

I also have read that Bank of Scotland send out letter under Blair Oliver Scott. Same Initials BOS.

I have a feeling Hollis Briggs Solicitors are the same ie: Halifax Bank of Scotland. Initials HBS.

You're right FYTC they are all one and the same, clever eh? Blair Oliver & Scott/Bank of Scotland and Hollis Briggs/Halifax Bank of Scotland. Got our recorded delivery signed but no sign of cca yet, 12 + 11 and counting-tee hee!!
