I have had problems with my young son's "spill proof" toddler cups leaking so this morning I emailed AVENT about it.

Within an hour, somebody from the company rang me to see how they could help to resolve the problem and at her suggestion, they are sending me 2 replacements for the cups that we have, along with a new type of cup with a faster flow rate. The only thing they have asked of me is that I let them know how we get on with the "new" cup. They will be with me in 2-3 working days.

Credit when it is due. That is excellent customer service, especially when you consider that we are talking about a £2.50 baby cup.

Advice given is either my experience or my opinion and is given without liability. If in doubt, consult a qualified professional.

I think it's important that the good side is reported as well as the bad.

Maybe we should have a "good service" forum

I agree with this. All too often the good is forotten about.
