Im guessing they will be enetering a diffence as I have not had an offer from DG, despite bringing my case to their attention.

Why do they prolong the inevitable so much.....!

12th January 2007 - prelim letter sent.

20th January 2007 - Prelim letter acknowledged and replied to.

26th January 2007 - LBA sent

12th February 2007 - MCOL Claim submitted

15th February 2007 - Notice of Issue received (deemed to be served on 18th Feb - HSBC have till 4th March 2007 to reply)

15th February 2007 - offer made (less than claim) in response to prelim letter.

15th February 2007 - MCOL Claim Acknowledged

they will enter a defence at the last minute. i think the sheer volume of claims has slowed the whole process down right now. be patient - you'll get it back soon enough

If i've been helpful in any way....then tip my scales over there!

HSBC (DG) have filed their defence today - so I guess we are going to the AQ stage as I thought.

So generally when have people been made an acceptable offer - before filing the AQ or after..... in general how much longer before I should see my money?

Thanks,

Helen

My AQ is due on the 31st March so we are pretty much on the same timescales. I'm in the middle of completing mine and will wait till the 30th to file it with the courts and so to give DG a chance to hit me with a settlement offer, fingers crossed.

I will in the meantime, next week, also send them a copy of my schedule of charges. I noticed there was an error in the one I sent previously and will write to them again, recorded delivery, with the schedule and ask them to settle the claim before further costs are added with the AQ charge I have to pay of £100 on top! They are making it more expensive for themselves by letting it drag out.
