I received a parking ticket at the shop specified below.
I parked in the car part from 19.55pm until 20.47pm .
As the shop was closed - there is a terminal inside for customers to put in their registration numbers I had assumed it would be fine.
I've had various piffle from them on  aregular basis since. None of which I have responded to.
I now have a letter before claim and am wondering if I should change tack?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thanks for filling in the sticky so quickly - we wish everyone would do that!

Don't worry, Smart Parking don't do court.

But as dx says, you need to reply with a snotty letter ridiculing their position.

Can you redact & upload the original PCN please?

We could do with some help from you.

Just wondered where I stood in terms of shop being closed and therefore their right to issue ticket................

Is the shop local to you?

It might help if you could post up some pics of the signage.

(Can't read it on Google Streetview).

Not a reason to issue a speculative invoice.

Was this an ANPR capture? Or CCTV. Need to see all paperwork both sides in one multipage pdf read upload.

If you do go to get some pics, have a quick de-clutter, pop in and make a donation... Explain what's happened and ask if they can help.

If they say they can't because they're only tenants, ask for contact details of the landlord.
