When making a Subject Access Request (SAR), also known as Data Subject Access Request (DSAR), do I need to provide the reason or reasons for making the request?

Is it a requirement by law and regulation? or is it not necessary to give a reason or reasons under the Data Protection Act (2018) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

You don't need to give any reasons at all. You are entitled to access your personal data as of right.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
