Hello,

Been registered a coupla months, but this is my first post. I'm reclaiming charges from HSBC to the tune of £1700+. Sent my data request letter and received all my statements through the post, plus my cheque back.

Sent my second letter requesting a refund of these charges - heard nothing. Send my third letter (the 'reminder' one, giving them a further 14 days to reflect) and so far have heard nothing. Got a week left before the 14 days is up and I proceed to the small claims court.

Q: what do I do now? I'm unsure about the small court claims procedure and find this website a tad confusing to navigate...

nice one - so I don't, like, have to organise a proper kindof legal pack, siting cases etc and legal jargon? Do I have to fill in an official form, paperwork etc?

Sorry for my rushy tone, but it's just dawned on me that I only have this weekend to sort things out so I can start the procedure the day the time runs out (otherwise there's no point - I'd just be making false threats)

Look at the link I gave you, that is what you need to fill in. It really is nothing to worry about. Have a read around of other threads too. Any problems, come back to me.

if it helps, take a look at mt thread as i have been settled by HSBC http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/hsbc-fd-hfc-successes/22092-sarah-hsbc-last.html . in my experience I have found them the easier and quickest to get your money back. I did file at court but they settled very quickly after that. Good luck!

I've beat HSBC, GE Money and Abbey
