No more likely for them to halt action,they know a defended claim is most likely to fail, and the fact you have told them so but they still carry on means they could get a spanking (again) in court.

Respond to the Claim Form using MCOL, register an account and tick Defend all.  DX and the others will be along soon to give exact details of how to respond.  Do NOT ignore this.

Probably some more toilet paper from Gladdys, and if they carry on a snotty letter saying the matter is so simple the PPC will win, so they are asking for the matter to go forward "On the Papers".  which is where you insist it goes to court, they like to trick people into letting them get a default as they don't want their useless Particulars of Roboclaim to be tested in court if they can get away with on the papers.

Reply to the Court that you want an oral hearing and object to "On The papers" and indicate on the Court DQ that this is so. 

 

Gladdys are hoping for another unchallenged Default, so getting a hearing is key to undermining them.

I wouldn't, as their non compliance with original request  is useful for your defence so why give them a chance now?  Others will doubtless be along soon to advise further.

Bear in mind that the case they cite in their WS at 10:

"10. Notwithstanding the above, the Criminal Case of Elliott v Loake 1983 Crim LR 36 held that the
Registered Keeper of a vehicle may be presumed to have been the driver unless they sufficiently
rebut this presumption. The Court is therefore invited to conclude it more likely than not that
the Registered Keeper (i.e. the Defendant) was the driver."

 

It's Criminal, and has been kicked into touch as not applicable. there is reports on Prankster where these cases have been rubbished by the judge as not applicable

Sorry you lost, I think some of these Judges need to brush up on the points made in a defence as these PPC RobOclaims if viewed as a group would show they are vexatious at best and some perjury at worse.
