Football... You have a good letter that you can use... But it's not a 1 job fits all... Every lender with every person is different... It depends on how many loans etc...

 

 

One other thing to understand is that we are not always around to help, we have lives outside of the forum.. I have just done 4 x 12 hour shifts in a row and it means that for 4 days I virtually can't help anyone...

I just wanted to someone to quickly look over the statements and to let me know if i have a case against wonga. If so I would send them the letter today...it is just all the mistakes i made in the past is paying its dividends and i want to get rid of this debt stress . Everyday i wake up, these things are still overflowing my mind. I want to get rid of this. I virtually have no money left from my wage after paying all the bills and these payday loans etc.

Yes but what is the status with each lender?

 

How much is outstanding on each account and how much are you paying every month to each?

Safety net credit: £5 per month

Wonga: £1 per month

Outstanding: £347

 

Lending stream: £5 per month

Outstanding: £496

 

Peachy: £57 x2 installments

£37x 1 installment

 

Outstanding: £190

 

Payday uk: £1 per month

Outstanding: £437

FP, Im not ignoring you, honest! :)

I get why you are pushing here... But you need to remember that if you let these things get to you, then they will affect you.

on the phone? are you able to record calls (or at least take contemporaneous notes), and are confident on the phone to discuss the complaint. could do.

otherwise, respond with comms in writing/email only anytime (which they should do anyway initially re a formal complaint re details of their complaints procedure)

Spoke to Lending stream.

First the advisor was saying the amicable solution is to "remove the interest from your loan and you just pay the loan"

 

I refused and explained why i was mislended and how I will go to FOS.

Then immediately she said

"At best we can waive all the balance away and close your account "

 

I was very happy but didn't get carried away so I refused and said

1) I agree with that, that you will waive the balance away but...

 

As you accepted you mislended me I want

2)All the references from lending stream to be removed from my credit report

3)Get the standard 8% statutory interest refunded.

 

She said that sounds ok but she can't promise about the last 2 points and that she will refer to her manager

 

She also told me to write these 3 points in writing to her and also to state I will close the complaint once these 3 points are adhered.

Good Man! :) You did it perfectly here...

 

All 3 should be accepted and should be actioned :)

However I must ask though, make sure you are firm about everything. but how does it feel to get somewhere finally?

 

If they refuse the 8% interest, just take the Closure of the account and removal from your CRAs... That means your liability to the company is then gone! Thats better then any amount they can give you...

When she said that it was so relieving. It was like a piece of burden had been lifted off my shoulders. Im going to keep at it and take on the other lenders.

Told you :), you may not get 100% with all lenders, but Id say that this is a great start :)

I emailed wongas ceo with the complaint- sara still got no acknowledgement or reply. What do?

Yes he will, he will pass it on to the execs team of which ever brand (PDUK in this case)
